About

What is the “Inter-University Exchange Project"?

By training global business professionals who can be active in international society, this program, supported by MEXT, aims to strengthen global expansion of college education through international education cooperation initiatives for both Japanese college students studying abroad (outbound) as well as receiving international students.

Background

The "reproduction" on the earth is in danger due to the environmental degradation caused by the flood of chemicals and the social and economic activities (Planetary boundaries assessment shows that the biodiversity loss (extinction rate) exceeded the limit value as of 2009).

Output (Human resources to be trained)

Human resources who can contribute to solving various issues related to the reproductive environment by practically acquiring a wide range of related knowledge, perspectives, and skills based on reproductive environmental sciences.

Outcome

Formation and strengthening of a Japan-Europe network to promote the discovery and accumulation of knowledge in reproductive environmental sciences that contribute to the wellbeing of humankind and the development and application of related advanced scientific and medical technologies (including biotechnology such as gene editing and Artificial Intelligence), as well as to improve research capabilities and realize co-education and co-creation.
