Sending Japanese graduate students of Okayama University to the three European universities
About
Applications are opened each fiscal year for students to be dispatched for internship (1-3 months) and special research (3-12 months). Upon completion of procedures in accordance with the conditions, the dispatched students will be provided with airline tickets necessary for dispatch (payment in kind), a JASSO scholarship, and other support (information support from Okayama University and partner universities, etc.).
Conditions for dispatched students to be recruited
- Japanese students enrolled as regular students in the Master's program of the following graduate schools of Okayama University:
-Graduate School of Environmental, Life, Natural Science and Technology
-Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences
-Graduate School of Health Sciences
-Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering in Health Systems - Applicants must have English language proficiency (4 skills) of at least B1 level on the CEFR.
- Students must have a clear purpose and intention to study, have basic knowledge, and have the approval of their academic advisor.
- Students must meet course requirements (i.e., be able to take the introductory subject “Introduction to Reproductive and Environmental Sciences” and either or both of the specialized subject “Reproductive Science” and “Environmental Chemistry”).
- Students must have a grade of 2.3 or higher on the JASSO grading scale for the previous year or last semester.
